Oil Field Workers Electrocuted
On Monday, February 24, 2014, two oil field workers were electrocuted when they were struck by a fallen electrical line in southwest Houston, Texas, according to authorities. Paramedics gave the men CPR as an ambulance rushed them to Memorial Hermann Hospital. Apparently, a crane struck an electrical line in a field near the 16800 block of Blue Ridge near FM 2234 close to Fort Bend County, Texas. A worker at the site of the incident referred any questions to the company, Maverick Drilling. Houston police and other authorities are investigating the incident.
