ORANGE COUNTY - By Justin Hinton, KFDM News

The Texas Department of Public Safety has identified the fourth person killed in Wednesday night‚„s collision on I-10 in Rose City as Luis Alonso Rodriguez Camacho, 30, of Mexico.

The wreck also killed Glenda Blackwell and her two great grandchildren, Conner and Abigail.

Bill Shoemaker of Deweyville was driving on the eastbound side of I-10, heading back home, when he saw one of the semi trucks crash.

‚“All of a sudden, I said that guy's going to run into all them vehicles and by the time I said it, that's when he hit it,‚ Shoemaker said. ‚“Just wondering how many people were going to die in that wreck because the way he was driving. It just looked like he never put on his brakes.‚

After witnessing the crash, Shoemaker says the first thing he thought of was his family, so he picked up the phone and made the call to his wife.

‚“It's like seeing one of those action films,‚ he said. ‚“We see a bunch of vehicles piled up. Like I said, it was really bad.‚

Troopers are still trying to determine what caused the 5-vehicle wreck.

A spokesperson says the crash report should be available by this weekend.
