Two teens have been severely injured following a major crash on the Grand Parkway. The accident occurred yesterday afternoon, at about 4:41 p.m. in the southbound exit lane of the Grand Parkway, just south of Bridgeland Creek Parkway.

Police say that at the time of the crash, a white sedan with two teens in it was driving recklessly when the driver lost control of the vehicle while trying to exit the Grand Parkway. The sedan flipped several times.

Both teens are reported to be in critical condition. The driver, a 16-year-old girl, was Lifeflighted to a nearby hospital, while her passenger, a 17-year-old boy, was transported to the hospital via ambulance. Authorities believe speeding was the cause of the crash.
