After several hours of closures, the inbound lanes of the Westpark Toll Road are open again following an incident involving an overturned 18-wheeler. The 18-wheeler was driving eastbound when it overturned near the Mason Road exit at about 4:45 p.m.

The Community Fire Department reported that at least five more vehicles were involved with the incident. The overturned 18-wheeler spilled a load of dry concrete onto the roads. Emergency crews worked to clear the roads and remove the dry concrete and overturned 18-wheeler from the Westpark Toll Road for several hours. The Fort Bend Precinct 1 Constable announced that the roads had been cleared at 7:09 p.m.

No injuries have been reported. Police are still working to investigate the cause of the incident.
