One Woman Dead; Two Injured After Hillcroft Car Accident

One woman has died and two people have been injured following a car accident that occurred on Hillcroft. The car accident occurred at around 7:30 p.m. last night, at the 6400 block of Hillcroft Street. Investigators state that the incident occurred when a Toyota Camry entered the intersection of Hillcroft Street and Sands Point Drive and collided with a Ford Explorer.

According to officials, the driver of the Ford Explorer was transported to a nearby hospital. The driver of the Camry was also transported to a nearby hospital. The passenger, a 50-year-old woman, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police state that neither driver showed signs of intoxication at the time of the incident. Sergeant Clark with the Houston Police Department stated that police are working to obtain video footage from nearby surveillance cameras to determine the circumstances of the crash.
